STOP THE
ANNEXATION

Of 2,090 Acres of Hood County Land to be Used

For Power Plant and Data Center Development.

ON January 6th, 2026, the Granbury City Manager and City Attorney Said this at a
City Council Meeting:

"Audience, I would like to go on record and state this fact: There has not been one company come to this city council and present any plan for any development on that property other than Moydad Moyetta for the project that was approved in 2012."

-City Manager, Chris Coffman

"I understand there's been a lot of speculation on what may or may not go on that property, but what I can tell you the council and the public is that there is absolutely no application for any development received by the city as to that property."

-City Attorney Jeremy SoRelle

"You guys are speculating on something this council has not done and I'd just like to make that very transparent for you."

-City Manager, Chris Coffman

"And whether that be 5,000 homes, or some sort of commercial industry in support of our ever expanding airport, or as I've heard data centers, that will be looked at at that time."

-City Attorney Jeremy SoRelle

"They have not dwelt individually with a company either in this back room, or at this dais or in a public meeting, in a closed session at all."

-City Manager, Chris Coffman
